Come out and attend the Explorer Hike – challenge your youth to test their determination and endurance. While achieving a number of badge requirements during this event, they will also experience a wide variety of great outdoor activities, as well as participating in a challenging nighttime hike.


Saskatchewan Council regretfully announces the sudden passing of Les Gammel in a motor vehicle accident in British Columbia.  Les volunteered in Scouting for nearly 50 years with a number of groups within Saskatchewan.  He was a frequent worker at the “Spudnut booth” at the Saskatoon Exhibition helping to raise money for Scouting.  He attended the 15th World Scout Jamboree (1983) in Kananaskis, Alberta as a Scouter for a group of Venturers who found themselves without a Scouter at the last minute.  Les also volunteered at a number of Canadian Jamborees includi More »

Dear Prairie Heartland Scouters   Wow! Where has summer gone? Next week is already Scouter Kickoff, so please be sure to get your registration in to Kim Smith before next Wednesday. Please refer to the attachment for details.   This year, we will have a much more informal time with only a few scheduled items. The purpose of this event is for you to socialize and network with Scouters from other groups and discuss, demonstrate, and ask questions to develop your Scouting skills.    More »
