One of the simplest ways to thank a scouter for a job well done is to visit scouts.ca/thanks Any community member, youth, parent or scouter may submit formal thanks to a leader using this method.

Additionally Scouts Canada offers a number of awards to acknowledge the inspiring work, leadership skills and community service projects that youth demonstrate daily.

These awards include:

We appreciate the effort of our youth and the work of our adult members. Every effort is made to recognize their achievements.
The Scouts Canada Awards are the most common awards given to our youth and adult members. They are convened by our National Council. These awards are what most people are referring to when they say "awards." However, there are also some other awards that are administered by the Council. Use the navigation panel on the left to find out more about these awards.

Although the council team may administer many of the awards they do not make the recommendations. That is the job YOU must do. If you see someone putting in that extra effort make sure they are recognized.
