The Purpose of the Jungle Camp is to:

  • introduce and promote the Cub Program
  • introduce the Jungle Theme to Whitetail Beavers
  • ensure the smooth transition from Beavers to Cubs by:
  • meeting and becoming comfortable with new scouters while in the company of familiar ones
  • learning what they can expect from the Cub program
  • getting a jump start on earning badges
  • having tons of fun!!!!

Beavers will experience what it is like to be a Cub at camp by:

  • becoming part of a Lair, with a second year Cub known as a Tracker.
  • working on Cub badge requirements through camping activities, games, and crafts.
  • contributing to camp life via Duty Roster jobs with their Lair
  • working as a team with their Lair in friendly competition with the other Lairs
  • sleeping in segregated cabins (male/female, youth/adult).

Registration is to be completed by Group. Along with their Whitetails,

Each Group should register:

  • One Beaver Scouter *

If you are not able to get enough Adults/Scouters to meet the above please contact Colleen,

  2. Group (Lair) Leaders (at least 2 per Lair): be prepared to ensure 2-deep leadership within your Lair at all times while at activities, and in transit between activities.
