Klondike Hike

Dallas Valley ranch camp
Youth complete a winter hike by sled completing several skills challenges along the way.
The Klondike Hike is a winter challenge of scouting skills in a series of checkpoints spread over five kilometers. This year the event will be held at Dallas Valley Ranch Camp near Regina, Saskatchewan.  Each checkpoint tests a di!erent winter skill: ice-rescue, knots and lashing, shelter building, first aid, fire lighting and survival knowledge. This year there will be some new events that will challenge everyone.  Points are awarded at each checkpoint according to the degree of skill demonstrated.

Laser Quest All Nighter

Laser Quest Regina
Play laser tag from 11:00 pm until 5:00am. Pizza provided around 1am. Split into rovers and venturers. Play rounds every 20 minutes.

More details to follow. $37 each player. Be at Laser Quest by 10:20 pm to pay, register and have the first group playing by 11pm. Minimum of 30 players needed, Max of 60. Advisors can play also. Payment in advance is encouraged but not essential. Confirmed numbers needed by Dec 20th. Will split venturers and rovers into separate groups unless the numbers don't allow it.

The 2014 Pie Iron camp has been cancelled due to low registrations. Eat, Laugh and be sociable. This camp is all about getting Scouting members age 14-26 together for a fun time. This year there will be pumpkin catapults!

Jamboree-On-The-Air and Jamboree-On-The-Internet (JOTA-JOTI) are official international twin events of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). They are youth program events intended for young people in Scouting of all ages.
