Scouter Kristen Sawchuk Gone Home

It is with great sadness that we share that Scouter Kristen Sawchuck has gone home. Kristen was involved as a Scouter in Saskatoon for 9 years, most recently in 72nd North Saskatoon. His loss will be greatly felt within our Scouting Community. 

Prayers will be held at 7 pm on Sunday July 29 and the Funeral will be at 1 pm on Monday July 30. Both will be held at Windsor Chapel in Saskatoon  (704 Windsor Street).

32nd Annual SK Cub Camp Needs Your Help! Come and play with the big kids! The Offer of Service (OOS) Experience is a camp within a camp! If you are a Scout, Venturer or Rover looking for a leadership adventure on your Canadian Path Journey, or a Scouter wanting to have some fun with other amazing adults - COME & JOIN OUR TEAM. You can arrive early (encouraged) the day before camp starts, and food is provided. We have our own campsite and fire rings which provides for awesome downtime.

Theme: HUNGER GAMES Training Camp

What an exciting theme chosen by the youth who attended last year's camp.  The adventure will include survival skills, puzzles and challenges.  The sky is the limit and we will be looking for activity ideas from the OOS, particularily the youth who register early.

HUNGER GAMES Training Camp! May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favour! Join us for the 32nd Annual Provincial Cub Camp! Survival Skills & Challenges will make up this amazing weekend. This amazing, fun filled camp now moves around the province every few years, giving our youth and scouters more opportunities to explore our amazing province. Come & explore the northern part of our province, that hunting & fishing groups pay hundreds of dollars to professional guides to experience.

Anglin Lake Opens May Long Weekend

Camp is open and taking bookings! Open weekends from May long to June 24th. Open 7 days per week from June 29 to Aug 4. Book now for this amazing semi-wilderness camping experience. Scouters - bring your cub pack and scout troops. You feed them, we entertain them. The Saskatchewan Service Corps is waiting to provide programming based on what you and your youth want.

The Anglin Lake Scout Camp opens on May long weekend every year and is open weekends in May & June.  Once school is out, we are open everyday until the August long weekend.  We do require that you prebook to ensure that we have the staff available to greet you.

Klondike hike is a winter challenge that involves scouts and ventures and now girl guides with 5-7 youth per team. It involves scouting skills in a series of checkpoints spread over five kilometers. Each checkpoint tests a different winter skill: -Ice rescue -Knots and lashing -Shelter building -First aid -Fire lighting -Gorge crossing -Alaskan climb -Canoeing preparedness

Klondike hike is fast approaching and groups need to start thinking about attending and making teams, we will also need some volunteers to help run events to make this a success.
